Bisquick Cheddar Biscuits

Ingredients

2 cups Bisquick baking mix
⅔ cup milk
½ cup cheddar cheese, shredded
¼ cup butter, melted
¼ Teaspoon Garlic powder (or to your taste)

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 450. Mix baking mix, milk, & cheese until a soft dough forms
  2. Beat vigorously for 30 seconds.
  3. Drop dough by spoonfuls onto an ungreased cooking sheet.
  4. Bake 8 - 10 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Mix butter & garlic powder.
  6. Brush garlic mixture over warm biscuits before removing from cookie sheet.
  7. Serve warm.

Bisquick Apple Dumplings

½ stick butter, melted
2 cups of Bisquick

SAUCE:

2 tbsp. butter
4 c. sugar
6 c. water
2 tsp. cinnamon

Mix ½ stick butter and Bisquick thoroughly; add water until dough holds together and is not sticky like pie crust consistency.

Take small balls of dough roll out, place apple slices and sugar on dough and roll up.

Place in roaster.

Sauce: Bring to sauce ingredients to a boil and boil 5 minutes.

Pour over dumplings and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

Be sure to cover dumplings with foil.

After 1 hour if not brown on top uncover and brown.

Zucchini Casserole Made with Bisquick

Zucchini Casserole

Ingredients

  • 8 servings
  • 4 c Zucchini; sliced
  • 2 ts Parsley
  • 1 c Bisquick
  • ½ ts Salt
  • 4 Eggs; beaten
  • ½ ts Garlic powder
  • ½ c Onion; chopped
  • ½ ts Oregano
  • ½ c Cheese; grated
  • 8 oz Mozzarella cheese
  • ½ ts Veg. oil

Instructions

  1. Mix all except Mozzarella cheese well.
  2. Place in well-greased 13x9.
  3. Top with either shredded Mozzarella or Mozzarella slices.
  4. Bake in 350 oven for 40 minutes.

Sweet and Sour Pork Sirloins made with Bisquick

Ingredients

  • 4 servings
  • - - - MEAT - - SWEET & SOUR SAUCE - -
  • 6 Pieces Boneless Pork
  • 1 tb Oil
  • Sirloins (approx. 1 ½ lb.)
  • 1 c Pineapple Juice*
  • - - - - BREADING - - - - -
  • 3 tb Corn Starch
  • 1 c Bisquick
  • ½ c Sugar
  • 1 ts Salt
  • 1 tb Soy Sauce
  • ¼ ts Pepper
  • 3 tb White Vinegar
  • ¼ ts Garlic Powder
  • ½ Green Pepper
  • Celery Salt (a few shakes)
  • 1 Can thin sliced Pineapple
  • ½ c Oil -Chunks*

Instructions

  1. 20 0z. can of pineapple slices, drain off juice, approx. 1 cup, and cut
    into chunks.
  2. PREPARATION: Preheat oven at 350°
  3. Meat: Shake breading ingredients together in plastic bag, add meat and shake until coated.
  4. Heat ½ cup oil in large frying pan to hot and brown meat to golden brown
    color, approx. 5-6 minutes, turning occasionally.
  5. Arrange in large baking dish.
    Sweet and Sour sauce: Heat 1 tbsp. oil and 1 cup pineapple juice on low in
    saucepan.
  6. Whisk together cornstarch, sugar, soy sauce and vinegar until smooth. Add to oil/juice slowly, stirring in well with spoon.
  7. Stir until thickened and smooth.
  8. Add pepper strips and pineapple chunks. Pour over meat in baking dish.
  9. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
  10. SERVING: Remove pork sirloins, arrange on platter. Put sweet/sour sauce in
    dish to pass.
  11. Serve over rice or noodles, or just to top meat with. (Bake potatoes or yams with it, if you prefer.)

Impossible Breakfast Quiche made with Bisquick

Ingredients

  • 6 servings
  • 3 Eggs
  • ¼ ts Salt
  • ½ c Bisquick
  • 1 ds Pepper
  • ½ c Butter-melted
  • ½ c Sausage cooked and crumbled
  • 1 ½ c Milk

Instructions

  1. Blend all but cheese and meat for 15 secs in blended.
  2. Sprinkle with cheese and meat on top.
  3. Bake at 350' oven for 45 mins.
  4. Cool for 5 mins.

Pizza Pie made with Bisquick

Ingredients

  • 6 servings
  • ⅔ c Onion; chopped
  • ¼ c Parmesan; grated
  • ⅓ c Parmesan; grated
  • 3 ½ oz Pepperoni; sliced
  • 1 ½ c Milk
  • ⅓ c Onion; chopped
  • 3 Eggs
  • ½ c Green pepper; chopped
  • ¾ c Bisquick
  • 1 ½ c Mozzarella; shredded
  • 1 c Prepared pizza sauce

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 425.
  2. Grease pie plate, 10 x 1 ½"
  3. Sprinkle ⅔ c. onion and ⅓ c. Parmesan cheese in pie plate.
  4. Beat milk, eggs and Bisquick 15 sec. in blender on high.
  5. Pour into pie plate. Bake 20 min. Spread pizza sauce over top.
  6. Top with remaining ingredients Bake 15-20 min. or til cheese is light brown.
  7. Cool 5 min. For ½ recipe: Use 1 qt. square or round casserole.
  8. Decrease Parmesan cheese to 2 tb., eggs to 2 and baking mix to
  9. ½ c. Divide remaining ingredients amounts in half.
  10. Decrease beat time to 10 sec. and second baking time to 10-15 min.
  11. HIGH ALT>For ½ recipe: use a one and one half quart round or 1 qt. square casserole.

Impossible Pizza with Peach Sauce made with Bisquick

Ingredients

  • 4 servings
  • -----------------------------------CRUST-----------------------------------
  • 2 tb Cheese, Parmesan, grated
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 c Milk
  • ½ c Bisquick
  • ----------------------------------TOPPINGS----------------------------------
  • ½ c Prego Bell peppers,
  • chopped Sausage; or ground meat
  • 2 tb Cheese, Parmesan, grated
  • Onions, chopped
  • ¾ c Cheese, mozzarella, shredded

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 425.
  2. Grease 1 pie plate per 4 servings.
  3. Sprinkle onion and Parmesan cheese in pie plate.
  4. Beat milk, eggs, and Bisquick 15 seconds in blender on high.
  5. Pour into pie plate.
  6. Bake 20 minutes.
  7. Spread pizza sauce over top.
  8. Top with remaining ingredients.
  9. Bake 10-15 minutes, until cheese is light brown.
  10. Cool 15 minutes.
  11. Sylvia's comments: still rose too much for my preference.
  12. Try reducing Bisquick.

Bisquick Chicken and Dumplings

Bisquick Chicken and Dumplings

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups milk
  • 1 cup frozen green peas and carrots
  • 1 cup cut-up cooked chicken
  • 1 can (10 ¾ ounces) condensed creamy chicken mushroom soup
  • 1 cup Original Bisquick® mix
  • ⅓ cup milk Paprika, if desired

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 ½ cups milk, the peas and carrots, chicken and soup to boiling in 3-quart saucepan, stirring frequently.
  2. Stir Bisquick mix and ⅓ cup milk until soft dough forms.
  3. Drop dough by 8 spoonfuls onto chicken mixture (do not drop directly into liquid).
  4. Sprinkle with paprika.
  5. Cook uncovered over low heat 10 minutes.
  6. Cover and cook 10 minutes longer.

Impossible Coconut Pie made with Bisquick

Title: Impossible Coconut Pie

Yield: 6 servings
2 c Milk 1 c Coconut; flaked or shredded
¼ c Butter ¾ c Sugar
1 ½ ts Vanilla ½ c Bisquick
4 Eggs
Heat oven to 350F. Grease pie plate, 9x1 ¼" or 10x ½". Place all
ingredients in blender container. Cover and blend on High 15 seconds. Pour
into plate. Bake till knife inserted in centre comes out clean, 50 to 55
minutes; cool.

Bisquick Banana Muffins

⅓ cup oil
½ teaspoon vanilla
3 eggs
½ cup sugar
1 ½ cup mashed banana
2 teaspoon cinnamon
2 ½ cup of Bisquick
½ cup honey

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease bottom of loaf pan or use muffin pans with liners. Beat all ingredients vigorously with spoon for 30 seconds. Bake 55 to 65 minutes for loaf pan; 15 minutes for mini muffins; 20 minutes for regular muffins. Cool 5 minutes. Can add mini chocolate chips, nuts or raisins.
