Impossible Turkey Pie made with Bisquick

Turkey Pie

Ingredients

  • 6 servings
  • 2 c Turkey or chicken; cked; cutup
  • 1 c Swiss Cheese; shredded
  • 4 ½ oz Mushrooms; sliced; drained
  • 1 ½ c Milk
  • ½ c Green onions; sliced
  • ¾ c Bisquick
  • ½ ts Salt 3 Eggs

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 400.
  2. Lightly grease a 10" pie plate.
  3. Sprinkle turkey, mushrooms, onions, salt, and cheese in pie plate.
  4. Beat remaining ingredients until smooth, in blender on high.
  5. Pour into pie plate.
  6. Bake until golden brown and knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean, 30-35 minutes.
  7. Let stand 5 min. before cutting.
  8. Refrigerate any remaining pie.
  9. Makes 6-8 servings.
  10. Can Substitute smoked cooked ham for the turkey.
  11. HIGH ALT: Bake 35-40 min.

Impossible Vegetable Pie made with Bisquick

Vegetable Pie

Ingredients

  • 6 servings
  • 2 c Fresh broccoli or caulif.*
  • ¾ c Bisquick
  • ½ c Onion; chopped
  • 3 Eggs
  • ½ c Green pepper; chopped
  • 1 ts Salt
  • 1 c Cheddar cheese; shredded
  • ¼ ts Pepper
  • 1 ½ c Milk

Instructions

  1. *Slice the cauliflower or chop the broccoli.
  2. 1 ten oz. pkg of frozen of either one can be used in the recipe in place of fresh, thawed and drained, but do not cook first!
  3. Heat oven to 400. Lightly grease l0" pie plate.
  4. Heat 1 inch salted water (½ teaspoon salt to 1 c. water) to boiling.
  5. Add broccoli.
  6. Cover and heat to boiling.
  7. Cook until almost tender, about 5 minutes; drain thoroughly.
  8. Mix broccoli, onion, green pepper and cheese in pie plate.
  9. Beat remaining ingredients til smooth, 15 sec. in blender on high speed.
  10. Pour into pie plate.
  11. Bake until golden brown and knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean, 35-40 min.
  12. Let stand 5 min. before cutting.
  13. Refrigerate any leftovers.
  14. HIGH ALT>Cook fresh broccoli or cauliflower about 7 min.

Garden Pie

Ingredients

  • 6 servings
  • 1 c Zucchini; chopped
  • ½ c Bisquick
  • 1 c Tomato; chopped
  • 2 Eggs
  • ½ c Onion; chopped
  • ½ ts Salt
  • ⅓ c Parmesan; grated
  • ¼ ts Pepper
  • 1 c Milk

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 400.
  2. Grease pie plate, 9 x 1 ¼".
  3. Sprinkle zucchini, tomato, onion and cheese evenly in pie plate.
  4. Beat remaining ingred. 15 sec. in blender on high.
  5. Pour evenly in pie plate.
  6. Bake about 35 min. or til knife inserted comes out clean.
  7. Let stand 5 min. before cutting.
  8. Garnish with tomato and zucchini slices if desired.
  9. ½ RECIPE: Use 1 qt. square or round casserole.
  10. Decrease Parmesan cheese to 2 tb.
  11. Divide remaining ingred. by half.
  12. Decrease bake time to about 30 min.
  13. HIGH ALT: bake about 50 min.
  14. For IMPOSSIBLE CHICKEN GARDEN PIE use 10 inch pie plate.
  15. For ½ recipe plain garden pie, use 1 ½ qt round or 1 qt square casserole.
  16. For ½ Recipe Impossible Chicken Garden Pie, use 1 ½ qt round or 1 qt square casserole and bake about 35 min.
  17. VARIATION: Make an IMPOSSIBLE CHICKEN GARDEN PIE by adding 2 cans (5 oz ea) chunk chicken, drained, or 1 c. cut-up cooked chicken with the veg.

Impossible Bacon Pie made with Bisquick

Bacon Pie

Ingredients

  • 6 servings
  • 12 Bacon; sliced; cooked; crumbled
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 c Swiss cheese; shredded
  • 1 c Bisquick
  • ⅓ c Onion; chopped
  • ⅛ ts Pepper
  • 2 c Milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400.
  2. Grease pie plate, 10x1 ½" Sprinkle ham, cheese and onion in pie plate.
  3. Beat remaining ingred. 15 sec. in blender on high speed.
  4. Pour into pie plate.
  5. Bake 35-40 min. or til knife comes out clean.
  6. Cool 5 min.
  7. VARIATION; Substitute 2 c. fully cooked smoked ham for the bacon, cut-up.
  8. ½ RECIPE: Use 1 qt square or round casserole.
  9. Decrease onion to 2 tb.
  10. Divide remaining ingredient amounts in half.
  11. Decrease beat time to 10 sec.
  12. HIGH ALT: Bake about 45 min. For ½ recipe: use 1 ½ qt round or 1 qt square casserole.
  13. Bake 30-40 min.

Impossible Lasagne Pie made with Bisquick

Lasagne Pie

Ingredients

  • 6 servings
  • ½ c Sm. curd creamed cot. cheese
  • 6 oz Tomato paste
  • ½ c Parmesan cheese; grated 1 c Milk
  • 1 lb Gr. beef; cooked; drained ⅔ c Bisquick
  • 2 c Mozzarella; shredded ½ ts Salt
  • 1 ts Oregano ¼ ts Pepper
  • ½ ts Basil Fresh parsley; chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400. Grease pie plate, 10x1 ½", or sq. baking dish-8x8".
  2. Layer cottage cheese and Parmesan cheese in pie plate.
  3. Mix cooked beef, 1 c. of mozzarella, the oregano, basil and tomato paste; spoon evenly over the top.
  4. Beat milk, eggs, baking mix, salt and pepper 15 sec. in blender on high speed, 1 min. with wire whisk or hand beater or til smooth.
  5. Pour in to pie plate.
  6. Bake 30-35 min. or til knife inserted in center comes out clean.
  7. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  8. Return to oven 1-2 min. or til cheese is melted.
  9. Cool 5 min.
  10. Sprinkle with parsley.
  11. ½ recipe: Use 1 qt. square or round casserole.
  12. Divide ingredient amounts in half.
  13. Decrease beat time to 10 sec. in blender or 30 sec. with wire whisk or hand beater and first bake time to 25-30 min.
  14. HIGH ALT: no adj. necessary.
  15. For ½ pie, use 1 ½ qt. round or 1 qt. square.
  16. Bake 30-35 minutes.

Impossible Taco Pie made with Bisquick

Taco Pie

Ingredients

  • 6 servings
  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 3 Eggs
  • ½ c Onion; chopped
  • 1 c Cheddar cheese; shredded
  • 2 Envelopes taco seasoning;
  • Dry ¼ Head lettuce; shredded
  • ¾ c Bisquick
  • 1 Tomato; diced
  • 1 ¼ c Milk
  • ¼ c Ripe olives; sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400.
  2. Grease pie plate, 10x1 ½", or square baking dish, 8x8".
  3. Cook and stir the gr. beef and onion in 10" skillet until beef is brown; drain.
  4. Stir in seasoning mix; spoon into pie plate.
  5. Beat baking mix, milk and eggs about 1 min with wire whisk or hand beater or til almost smooth.
  6. Pour into pie plate.
  7. Bake about 25 min. or til knife inserted in center comes out clean.
  8. Sprinkle with cheese.
  9. Bake about 2 min. longer or until cheese is melted.
  10. Cool 5 min. Garnish with lettuce, tomato and olives.
  11. FOR ½ RECIPE; Use 1 qt square or round casserole.
  12. Decrease baking mix to ½ c., milk to ¾ c. and eggs to 2.
  13. Divide remaining ingredients amounts in half.
  14. Decrease beat time to 10 sec. in blender or 30 sec. with wire whisk or hand beater.
  15. Increase bake time to 30-35 min.
  16. HIGH ALT>For the ½ recipe only use 1 ½ qt round or 1 qt. square casserole.
  17. No other adj. necessary.

Impossible Beef and Tomato Pie made with Bisquick

Cheeseburger Pie

Ingredients

  • 8 servings
  • 3 c Beef; cooked; cut bite-size
  • 2 ¼ c Milk
  • 1 c Onion; chopped
  • ¼ c Butter; melted
  • 1 c Celery; thinly sliced
  • 5 Eggs
  • 3 Tomatoes; coarsely chopped
  • 1 ¼ c Bisquick
  • 1 ½ c Swiss cheese; shredded
  • ½ ts Garlic salt

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350.
  2. Grease a 13x9x2" baking dish.
  3. Layer beef, onion, celery, tomatoes and cheese in dish.
  4. Beat remaining ingredients until smooth, 15 sec. in blender on high or 1 min. with electric mixer on high.
  5. Pour into dish.
  6. Bake until knife inserted in center comes out clean, 40-50 minutes.
  7. Cool 5 minutes.
  8. Garnish with parsley sprigs if desired.
  9. Serves: 8-10.
  10. High Alt. Bake 70-75 minutes.

Cheeseburger Pie

Ingredients

  • 6 servings
  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 ½ c Onions; chopped
  • ¾ c Bisquick
  • ½ ts Salt 2 Tomatoes; sliced
  • ¼ ts Pepper
  • 1 c Cheddar or American Cheese; shred
  • 1 ½ c Milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400.
  2. Can be topped with crisply cooked bacon.
  3. Grease pie plate, 10x1 ½", or sq. baking dish, 8x8, or 6 10 oz. custard cups.
  4. Cook and stir gr. beef and onion in 10" skillet over med. heat until beef is brown; drain.
  5. Stir in salt and pepper.
  6. Spread in pie plate.
  7. Beat milk, eggs and baking mix 15 sec. in blender on high speed, 1 min. with wire whisk or hand beater or until smooth.
  8. Pour into pie plate.
  9. Bake 30 min.
  10. Top with tomato slices; sprinkle with cheese.
  11. Bake 5-8 min. or until knife comes out clean.
  12. Cool 5 min. ½ RECIPE:
  13. Use 1 qt. square or round casserole.
  14. Decrease eggs to 2 and baking mix to ½ c.
  15. Divide remaining ingredients amounts in half.
  16. Decrease beat time to 10 sec. in blender or 30 sec. with wire whisk or hand beater.
  17. HIGH ALT>Increase first bake to 30 min.
  18. If baking the ½ recipe: Use 1 ½ qt round casserole or 1 qt. square.

Impossible Cheddar and Broccoli Appetizers made with Bisquick

Cheddar Broccoli Appetizers

Ingredients

  • 30 servings
  • 10 oz Frozen chopped broccoli*
  • ¼ c Butter; melted
  • 8 oz Whole kernel corn; drained
  • 2 Eggs
  • ¼ c Onion; chopped
  • ½ c Bisquick
  • ½ c Walnuts; coarsely chopped
  • ¼ ts Garlic salt
  • ½ c Milk
  • 1 c Cheddar cheese; shredded

Instructions

  1. *Thaw and drain the broccoli.
  2. Heat oven to 375.
  3. Grease a 9x9x2" pan.
  4. Mix broccoli, corn, onion and walnuts.
  5. Place in pan.
  6. Beat remaining ingredients except cheese until smooth, 15 sec. in blender on high, stopping blender frequently to scrape sides if necessary, or 1 min. with electric mixer on high.
  7. Pour evenly into pan.
  8. Bake until knife inserted in center comes out clean, 23-25 min.; sprinkle with cheese.
  9. Bake until cheese is melted, 2-3 minutes longer.
  10. Cool 30 minutes.
  11. Cut into triangles or squares.
  12. Makes 30 appetizers.

Citrus Dumplings made with Bisquick

Citrus Dumplings

Ingredients

  • 2 servings
  • ½ ts Finely Shredded Orange Peel ½ c Bisquick
  • ½ c Orange Juice 2 tb Sugar
  • 2 ts Cornstarch 2 tb Milk
  • ¼ ts Ground Cinnamon 1 ts Sugar
  • 11 oz Mandarin Orange Sect.,

Instructions

  1. Drain
  2. 1 x Dash Ground Cinnamon
  3. In a 1-quart casserole stir together orange juice, cornstarch and ¼ t ground cinnamon.
  4. Micro-cook, uncovered, on 100% power for 1 ½ to 2 minutes or till thickened and bubbly, stirring every 30 seconds.
  5. Stir in drained mandarin orange sections and finely shredded orange peel.
  6. Micro-cook, uncovered, on 100% power for 1 to 1 ½ minutes or till mixture is heated through.
  7. Meanwhile for dumplings, stir together Bisquick and 2 T sugar.
  8. Add milk, stirring just till moistened.
  9. Drop mixture into four mound atop the hot orange mixture.
  10. Micro-cook, uncovered, at 50% power for 6 to 7 minutes or till dumplings are just set.
  11. Stir together the 1 t sugar and dash of ground cinnamon.
  12. Sprinkle sugar mixture atop dumplings.
