Impossible Garden Vegetable Pie made with Bisquick

Garden Vegetable Pie

Ingredients

  • 6 servings
  • 2 c Broccoli OR Cauliflower Fresh, chopped
  • 1 ½ c Milk
  • ¾ c Bisquick or baking mix
  • ½ c Onion; chopped
  • 3 Eggs
  • ½ c Green pepper; chopped
  • 1 ts Salt
  • 1 c Cheddar cheese; shredded
  • ¼ ts Pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400F.
  2. Lightly grease pie plate (10"x1 ½") Cook broccoli until almost tender; drain thoroughly*.
  3. Mix broccoli, onion, green pepper in pie plate.
  4. Beat remaining ingredients 15 sec in blender or 1 minute with hand beater or till smooth.
  5. Pour in pie plate.
  6. Bake till golden brown and knife inserted in center comes out clean; approx. 35 - 40 minutes.
  7. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting.
  8. Garnish with tomato slices and parsley.
  9. *1 pk (10 oz) frozen chopped broccoli (thawed) or cauliflower thawed and drained may be substituted for the fresh. Do NOT cook.

Impossible Mushroom Pie made with Bisquick

Mushroom Pie

Ingredients

  • 6 servings
  • 1 tb Butter
  • ¾ c Bisquick or baking mix
  • 1 tb oil
  • ¼ ts Salt
  • 2 c Mushrooms; sliced
  • 3 Eggs
  • ½ c Green onions;
  • Chopped Tomato slices or wedges; opt
  • 1 c Swiss cheese; shredded Parsley; opt
  • 1 ts Tarragon; dried

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven 400 F.
  2. Heat butter and oil in large frying pan.
  3. Toss in mushrooms and cook over medium-high heat for 4 to 5 minutes.
  4. Season.
  5. Spread mushrooms, green onions, cheese and tarragon in bottom of greased 10 inch pie plate.
  6. Beat remaining ingredients 15 seconds in blender or 1 minute with hand beater till smooth and pour over vegetable mixture.
  7. Bake in preheated 400F oven for 30 to 35 minutes or till top is golden and pie is cooked.
  8. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
  9. Garnish with tomato and parsley.

Impossible Ham and Swiss Pie made with Bisquick

Ham Swiss Pie

Ingredients

  • 6 servings
  • 2 c Ham; cooked, smoked cut up
  • 2 c Milk
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 c Cheese; Swiss, shredded
  • 1 c Bisquick or baking mix
  • ⅓ c Green onion; chopped
  • ¼ ts Salt
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • ⅛ ts Pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 400F.
  2. Grease pie plate, 10x1 ½" inches.
  3. Sprinkle ham, cheese and onions in plate.
  4. Beat remaining ingredients till smooth, 15 seconds in blender or 1 minute with hand beater.
  5. Pour into plate.
  6. Bake till golden brown or till knife inserted in center comes out clean, 35 to 40 minutes.
  7. Cool 5 minutes.

Impossible Greek Spinach Pie made with Bisquick

Greek Spinach Pie

Ingredients

  • 4 servings
  • ½ c Green onions; chopped
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 tb Butter
  • 1 ts Lemon juice
  • 1 pk Spinach; thaw & drain
  • ¼ ts Pepper
  • ½ c Cottage cheese
  • 3 tb Parmesan cheese
  • 1 c Milk
  • ¼ ts Nutmeg
  • ½ c Bisquick

Instructions

  1. Layer spinach, onions and cottage cheese in greased dish.
  2. Put rest in Blender.
  3. Pour over cheese.
  4. Bake at 350 for 35-45 min until tests clean with knife.

Impossible Hamburg Pie made with Bisquick

Ingredients

  • 6 Servings
  • 1 c Bisquick
  • ¼ c Green pepper; chopped
  • ⅓ c Cold water
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • ¼ c Milk
  • ½ ts Salt
  • ½ ts Salt
  • ½ ts Oregano
  • ½ ts Dry mustard
  • ¼ ts Pepper
  • 8 oz Cheddar cheese; shredded
  • ½ c Bread crumbs
  • 8 oz Tomato sauce
  • ¼ c Onion, chopped

Instructions

  1. DIRECTIONS Combine baking mix and water until soft dough forms; beat vigorously.
  2. Smooth dough into ball on floured board.
  3. Knead 5 times.
  4. Roll dough 2 in larger than 9 in pie plate.
  5. Place into plate flute edges.
  6. Brown ground beef + drain.
  7. Stir in salt, oregano, pepper, onion, bread crumbs, tomato sauce and spread in pie crust.
  8. Beat egg and milk, stir in remaining ingredients.
  9. Spread over beef mixture.
  10. Bake til crust is golden, about 30 min at 375*

Green Bean Pie

Ingredients

  • 6 servings
  • 8 oz Green Beans
  • Fresh* 1 ½ c Milk
  • 4 oz Mushroom: Stems and Pieces*
  • ¾ c Bisquick Baking Mix
  • ½ c Onion; Chopped
  • 3 Eggs
  • 2 Garlic Cloves; Crushed
  • 1 ts Salt
  • 1 c Cheddar Cheese; Shredded
  • ¼ ts Pepper
  • * 8 ounces fresh green beans, cut lengthwise into strips.
  • * 1 can (4 ounces) mushroom stems and pieces, drained.

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Grease pie plate, 10 x 1 ½ inches.
  3. Heat beans and 1 inch salted water ( ½ teaspoon salt to 1 cup water) to boiling.
  4. Cook uncovered 5 minutes.
  5. Cover and cook until tender, 5 to 10 minutes; drain.
  6. Mix beans, mushrooms, onion, garlic and cheese in plate.
  7. Beat remaining ingredients until smooth, 15 seconds in blender on high or 1 minute with hand beater.
  8. Pour into plate.
  9. Bake until knife inserted between center and edge comes out clean, 30 to 35 minutes.
  10. Cool 5 minutes.
  11. Makes 6 to 8 servings.

Impossible Hamburger Pizza made with Bisquick

Hamburger Pizza

Ingredients

  • 8 servings
  • -----------------------------------CRUST-----------------------------------
  • 2 ½ c Bisquick Baking Mix
  • ⅔ c Water; Hot
  • 1 Active Dry Yeast; Package
  • --------------------------------MEAT MIXTURE--------------------------------
  • 1 lb Lean Ground Beef
  • 2 ts Oregano Leaves
  • ½ c Onion; Chopped
  • 1 Md ¼ ts Pepper
  • 15 oz Tomato Sauce; 1 Cn
  • ----------------------------------TOPPING----------------------------------
  • ½ c Green Pepper; Chopped, Opt.
  • 1 c Parmesan Cheese; Grated
  • 2 c Mozzarella Cheese; Shredded

Instructions

  1. Heat the oven to 425 degrees F.
  2. Mix the baking mix and yeast and stir in the hot water.
  3. Turn the dough onto a well-floured surface and knead until smooth, about 20 times.
  4. Let the dough rest a few minutes.
  5. While the dough is resting, cook and stir the meat and onion in a large skillet until the onion is tender and the meat is brown.
  6. Drain off the excess fat.
  7. Stir in the tomato sauce, oregano leaves, and pepper and set aside.
  8. Divide the dough in half.
  9. Roll each half on an non-greased baking sheet into a rectangle, 13 X 10-inches or on a pizza pan 12-inches in diameter.
  10. Pinch the edges to make a slight rim.
  11. Spread the meat mixture almost to the edges.
  12. Top with the green pepper and cheeses.
  13. Bake until the crust is brown and the filling is hot and bubbly, 15 to 20 minutes.
  14. Cut into squares or wedges and serve.
  15. NOTE: If desired, you can use shredded Cheddar Cheese for the Mozzarella in the above recipe.

Impossible Mexican Fiesta Casserole made with Bisquick

Mexican Fiesta Casserole

Ingredients

  • 6 servings
  • 1 lb Lean Ground Beef
  • 2 c Bisquick Baking Mix Salt & Pepper; To Taste
  • ½ c Water
  • 4 oz Cheddar Cheese; Shredded
  • 1 C Tomatoes; Thinly Sliced, *
  • 1 c Dairy Sour Cream
  • ¾ c Green Bell Pepper; Chopped
  • ⅔ c Mayonnaise Or Salad Dressing Paprika; Optional
  • 2 tb Onion; Finely Chopped
  • Use 2 or 3 ripe tomatoes or to taste.

Instructions

  1. Heat the oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Cook and stir the meat in a large skillet until brown.
  3. Drain off the excess fat.
  4. Season the meat with the salt and pepper, then set aside.
  5. Mix the cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise and onion and set this mixture aside.
  6. Stir the baking mix and water together until a soft dough forms.
  7. With floured fingers, pat the dough in a greased baking pan, 13 X 9 X 2-inches, pressing the dough ½ inch up the sides of the pan.
  8. Layer the meat, tomato slices, and green pepper onto the dough.
  9. Spoon the sour cream mixture over the top and sprinkle with the paprika, if used.
  10. Bake uncovered until the edges of the dough are light brown, 25 to 30 minutes.
  11. Cool 5 minutes and then cut into squares.

Impossible Creole Pie made with Bisquick

Ingredients

  • 1 servings
  • 1 (6-½ oz) crabmeat; *
  • ⅛ ts To ¼ t red pepper sauce
  • 1 pk (10-oz) okra, frozen;
  • ** 1 c Milk
  • 1 cn (16-oz) whole tomatoes;
  • *** ⅔ c Bisquick baking mix
  • ½ c Green pepper; chopped
  • 2 Eggs
  • ⅓ c Green onions; sliced
  • 1 ts Salt
  • ½ ts Chili powder
  • ½ ts Pepper
  • Drained ** Frozen cut okra, thawed and well drained *** Well drained, and
    cut up

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Grease pie plate, 10 x 1-½ inches.
  3. Mix crab meat, vegetables, chili powder and pepper sauce; spread in pie plate.
  4. Beat remaining ingredients 15 seconds in blender on HIGH or 1 minute with hand
    beater.
  5. Pour into plate.
  6. Bake until knife inserted between center and edge comes out clean, 35 to 40 minutes.
  7. Cook 5 minutes.
  8. YIELD: 4 or 5 Servings

Impossible Ham & Asparagus made with Bisquick

Ham Asparagus

Ingredients

  • 6 servings
  • 2 c Smoked ham, fully cooked, cu 3 Eggs
  • 1 ½ c Swiss cheese,shredded ¾ c Bisquick
  • 1 pk Asparagus, frozen, cut up
  • ¼ ts Salt
  • 2 Onions, green, sliced
  • ⅛ ts Pepper
  • 1 ½ c Milk

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 400.
  2. Grease pie plate.
  3. Sprinkle ham, 1 c. cheese, the asparagus and onions in plate.
  4. Beat milk, eggs, baking mix, salt and pepper til smooth, 15 sec. in blender at high speed.
  5. Pour into plate.
  6. Bake til knife inserted in center comes out clean 40-45 min.
  7. Sprinkle with ½ c cheese.
  8. Cool 5 min.
  9. 6-8 servings.
  10. Note: 1 lb of fresh asparagus can be used (about 2 cups cut up).
