Meatball Stew with Dumplings made with Bisquick

Meatball Stew with Dumplings

Ingredients

  • 4 servings
  • 1 x Recipe Of Basic Meatballs; * 10 ½ oz Cream of Celery Soup; **
  • ¼ c Dairy Sour Cream 16 oz Vegetables; ***
  • 15 oz Potatoes; Drained & Sliced,
  • 1Cn 1 x Egg Or Parsley Dumplings
  • -------------------------------EGG DUMPLINGS-------------------------------
  • 2 c Biscuit Baking Mix;
  • Bisquick 2 ea Eggs; Lg.
  • 2 tb Milk
  • -----------------------------PARSLEY DUMPLINGS-----------------------------
  • 2 c Biscuit Baking Mix; Bisquick
  • 2 tb Parsley Flakes
  • ⅔ c Milk
  • See Recipe 12 ** Use the condensed soup undiluted.
  • *** Use 1 can of peas, cut green beans, or sliced carrots.

Instructions

  1. Prepare the basic meatball recipe -- except cook them in a Dutch oven.
  2. Drain off the excess fat.
  3. Add the soup, sour cream, peas (with liquid) and potatoes, heat to boiling, stirring occasionally.
  4. Prepare the dumplings.
  5. Drop the dough by TBLS onto the boiling stew.
  6. Simmer uncovered for about 10 minutes.
  7. Cover and simmer another 10 minutes longer.
  8. Serve.
  9. EGG DUMPLINGS: Mix all the ingredients together until a soft dough forms.
  10. PARSLEY DUMPLINGS: Mix all the ingredients together until a soft dough forms.

Zucchini Fritters made with Bisquick

Zucchin Fritter

Ingredients

  • 8 servings
  • 5 tb Bisquick 2 ea Eggs, beaten
  • ½ c Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tb Butter
  • ¼ ts Salt
  • 2 c Zucchini, grated
  • ⅛ ts Pepper

Instructions

  1. Blend the Bisquick, Parmesan, salt, pepper.
  2. Add eggs.
  3. Mix zucchini into batter.
  4. Grease hot pan or griddle with butter.
  5. Pour batter into pan and fry 3 minutes on each side.
  6. Serve warm, a delicious way of serving zucchini.
  7. Make 8 to 10 fritters.

Sausage Balls made with Bisquick

Sausage Balls made with Bisquick

Ingredients

  • 10 servings
  • 1 lb Bulk Sausage (Hot Or Mild)
  • 3 c Bisquick
  • 2 c Sharp Cheddar Cheese Grated

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients and shape into balls the size of walnuts.
  2. Bake on cookie sheet at 350 degrees F for 15 minutes.
  3. Makes about 5 dozen.
  4. NOTE: defrost and reheat at 350 degrees F.

Bisquick Waffle Recipe

Bisquick waffles

Ingredients

  • 6 Waffles
  • 1 ½ cup bisquick
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 Teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 2 ea egg yolks
  • 2 ea egg whites
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla

Pre-heat waffle iron

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients except egg whites, sit aside.
  2. In a separate bowl, beat egg whites until stiff.
  3. Gently fold beaten egg whites into Bisquick mixture.
  4. Pour ¼ - ⅓ cup batter onto center of hot waffle iron.
  5. Bake until steaming stops.
  6. Remove waffle carefully.
  7. Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream and fruit of your choice.
  8. Makes about 6 waffles

Bisquick Dumplings

Bisquick Dumplings

Ingredients

  • 2 cups biscuit baking mix (bisquick)
  • ⅔ cup milk

Instructions

  1. Mix Bisquick and milk until soft dough forms.
  2. Drop dough by spoonfuls onto stew (do not drop directly into liquid).
  3. Cook uncovered over low heat 10 minutes.
  4. Cover and cook 10 minutes longer.

Bisquick Cobbler

Bisquick Cobbler

Ingredients

  • Self rising flour 1 cup
  • cocoa powder 1 ½ tablespoon
  • butter 6 tablespoon
  • sugar ¾cup
  • milk ½ cup
  • boiling water 1 ½ cup
  • cocoa powder ¼ cup
  • vanilla 1 tsp
  • sugar 1 cup

Instructions

  1. First of all heat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Take a pan and then melt the butter in it.
  3. Mix flour, 1 ½ tablespoons cocoa, butter and ¾ cup of sugar in a bowl.
  4. Put vanilla and milk in it.
  5. Mix it until it becomes smooth.
  6. Now put this batter into the melted butter in the pan.
  7. Mix cocoa powder and sugar in a small bowl and put it over the batter.
  8. Take the remaining cup of sugar and ¼ cup of cocoa powder and stir it.
  9. Then sprinkle it over the batter.
  10. Take boiling water and pour over the top of the mixture in the pan.
  11. Place the pan in oven and bake the mixture for about 25-30 minutes.
  12. When it gets ready serve it warm with cream or ice cream.

Bisquick Cinnamon Rolls

Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • ¾ c. milk
  • ½ c. sugar
  • 3 c. Bisquick
  • 2 tbsp. melted butter
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350°F.
  2. Beat egg, add Bisquick and milk.
  3. Stir to make soft dough.
  4. Knead lightly, just until smooth.
  5. Pat or roll out into rectangle 10 x 8 inches.
  6. Spread with butter.
  7. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
  8. Roll up tightly beginning with wide side.
  9. Seal well by pinching edge of dough into roll.
  10. Place sealed side down on non-greased baking sheet.
  11. Make cuts with scissors almost through roll at 1 inch intervals.
  12. If desired form roll in crescent.
  13. Bake 15-20 minutes.
  14. While warm, glaze top with mixture of ¼ cup confectioners' sugar and 2 teaspoons warm water.
  15. Makes 10 to 12 slices.

Bisquick Chicken Pot Pie

Chicken Pot Pie

Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen veggies, thawed
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, or 1 can chicken
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup Bisquick
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 egg, beaten

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Mix veggies, chicken and soup in a glass pie plate.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the Bisquick, milk and egg.
  4. Pour batter on veggie mixture.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes.

Bisquick Breakfast Casserole

Breakfast Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 c. bacon or ham or sausage
  • 1 c. cheddar cheese
  • 1 pt. half & half or milk
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 ½ c. Bisquick
  • 1 c. Swiss cheese
  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • ¼ tsp. pepper
  • ½ tsp. dry mustard
  • 10 eggs

Instructions

  1. In a 9 x 13 inch greased dish, mix butter, half and half, pepper, salt, mustard, eggs and Bisquick.
  2. Refrigerate overnight.
  3. Brown sausage or ham.
  4. Mix with Swiss and cheddar cheese and pour into dish.
  5. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.

Bisquick Blueberry Muffins

Blueberry Muffins

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup Bisquick baking mix
  • ⅓ cup sugar
  • ⅔ cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • ¾ cup blueberries

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Grease bottom only of 12 medium size muffin cups or line with paper baking cups.
  3. Beat eggs slightly in a medium bowl; stir in remaining ingredients except blueberries just until moistened.
  4. Fold in blueberries into batter.
  5. Divide batter evenly among muffin cups.
  6. Bake 15 to 18 minutes or until golden brown.
